CA Global Engineering and Construction is currently sourcing on behalf of their client for a Railway Engineer - Design – Johannesburg, South Africa
Overview
The role will involve design of railway lines and systems. Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed design, drawings and documentation for the rail projects undertaken by the client
- Manage the design task team
- Provide technical guidance and advice to the more junior staff
- Provide for final approval on design works
- Be involved on the tender and administration process
- Help to ensure that quality and safety standards are always
- Be involved in the drafting of budgets for major projects
Requirements: Qualifications and Skills
- BSc Degree in Civil Engineering
- Knowledge in Switch and Crossing Software would be advantageous
- A working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D, Civil Designer or AutoCad
- Must be Professionally Registered
Contractual information:
- Residential in Gauteng
- Permanent Appointment
