Service Engineering Team Lead is required by CA Global: Africa Positions. The position is based in Mpumalanga – Grootvlei - South Africa.
Overview:
- Carries the end responsibility for the successful completion and execution of Service Level Agreements for the Grootvlei Service Contract. (SLA and KPI compliance)
- Contributes to the expansion and growth of the Grootvlei Service Level Agreements and SPOT services
- Cost control of contracts, service contracts and SPOT services within designated SLA’s for Grootvlei Service Contract (Assure FSE’s timely completion of all Siebel time sheet data)
- Strive for optimal profitability of service contracts and additional SPOT services within designated SLA’s for Grootvlei Service Contract
- Coordinates, assist, and acts as the single point of contact within the service cluster for service related problems at Grootvlei site
- Motivate Field Service Engineers (FSE) to contribute to an optimal work atmosphere within the group
- Identify and escalate non-performers to FSL and participate in the Human Resource processes to take action
- Guarantees to the adherence of the delivery, continuity and quality of all service operating procedures
- Take pro-active initiative to strive for quality excellence
- Manage the close out of corrective actions (internal and external) by identifying the root causes and updating procedures to reflect improved ways of working. This to be shared with the Service Organization to ensure knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
- Ensure that the FSE’s at Grootvlei participate in the continuous improvement process with respect to (project)/service management procedures, guidelines and tools. (HOP, GPM, GSM and Six Sigma)
- Interfaces with TAC for the roll out of solutions to installed base
- Escalate and manage service problems presented by his/her disciplines according to relevant guide lines
- Actively participates in the contract renewal process with the customer
- Prioritises work priorities in consultation with the client and internal organization. (Accurate operational reporting and invoicing data to Administration and Control functions)
- Inform management of any potential problems within the business unit
- Maintain and keep up to date own competence level and knowledge levels
- Supports and advises other departments within the HPS group
- Maintains and seeks contact with customers and other groups within the organization
- Participates in tool box meetings
- Works with functional and business leaders to assist in Business Planning & Analysis processes
- Periodically participates in audits of other projects/services
Requirements:
Education : Electrical (Instrumentation) Diploma /Electronic Diploma or equivalent
Technical qualification
Experience : minimum 5 years experience with at least 2 years worth of experience in
Honeywell Experion Systems
