QA/QC Engineer (Oil & Gas / Refinery) - Kuwait

CA Engineering: Oil and Gas (International Positions) have a client that is in need of a Lead QA/QC Engineer (Oil & Gas / Refinery). The position will be based in Kuwait.
Overview:
Monitor the effectiveness of project quality management system and ensure the establishment of a trained, qualified and competent quality team. To actively mentor team members, conduct professional development reviews and recommend suitable candidates for promotion.
Requirements:
- Relevant Engineering Degree
- 12 years Post Gradation Experience minimum
- 10 years of which must be relevant to Oil & Gas / Refinery projects experience
- Familiar with ISO 9000 and 14000 series standards.
- Trained ISO 9001 Quality Auditor
- Practical experience on plant and vendor inspection
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitor the implementation of the quality management system in project execution
- Prepare project quality audit schedules and conduct project quality audits.
- Participate in project meetings and report on quality issues.
- Participate in FEED reviews on quality matters.
- Participate in project risk assessment workshops
- Conduct internal quality surveillance and report to SSHEQ Manager and/or Project Engineer.
